Clams and Cabbage
Steamed clams, purple cabbage, and mashed celeriac.

Meals have become super simple. Protein + veg + maybe another veg. Here are some examples of some favorites from January and February:

Main Proteins
roasted chicken (breasts/thighs)
steamed clams
sautéed shrimp
steamed lobster

Favorite Winter Side Dishes
sautéed purple cabbage, green apple, onion, and rosemary (recipe from Practical Paleo by Diane Sanfillipo)

mashed or roasted celeriac, rutabaga, or turnips

green salad (with homemade ranch dressing or fresh orange vinaigrette)

roasted sliced carrots

roasted winter squash

coleslaw (made with homemade mayo) I use purple cabbage, shredded carrots, raisins, and caraway seeds

roasted brussels sprouts
